Yoshio Nishi (西 義郎 Nishi, Yoshio 1934-) is a Japanese scholar of Tibeto-Burman linguistics. He first studied linguistics during his studentship at the International Christian University (Tokyo) under the leadership of Roy Andrew Miller.
